The Resurrection by Mike Duran

When I saw this book called The Resurrection, I thought, “Oh it’s about how Jesus resurrected.” I was wrong, again =)  I read the first page, it was a bit hard for me to get into because I didn’t know where Clark was living.  Was he in Ireland, New York, ASIA?!?!?!?  I didn’t know, but still I read on.  I had to know more about this book.  I think it was sad how Clark, a preacher, or “reverend” as Keen called him, was being a doubting Thomas.  He seemed like he was telling people how to live but wasn’t living like that himself.  It was sort of like, “Do as I say, not as I do,” type of thing. I think Clark was on the fence about some stuff, and to me he needed to get on one side or the other.  Ruby was a pretty cool character, she gave people something to believe in, and that was her, not God. I don’t think she intentionally did that, but that’s what happened.  It was a really neat book.

In conjunction with the CSFF Blog Tour, I received a free copy of this book from the publisher.
